RQI CPR Classes in San Francisco

RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement)

Getting certified with RQI is straightforward and efficient. It’s designed for medical professionals who want a fast and effective way to gain their certification card through the American Heart Association.

1. Start by taking the American Heart Association online course. This provides the foundational knowledge required for certification.
2. Once you’ve completed the online portion, head to one of our offices to complete the hands-on skills test using the Voice Assisted Manikin (VAM). Alternatively, you can opt for a virtual session with an instructor.
3. After successfully passing the skills test, you’ll receive your American Heart Association eCard, confirming your certification.

Cpr injuries during CPR courses

Pre-existing Injuries - Modified Work Duty

Performing CPR is physically demanding.

Chest compressions can put significant strain on your hands, wrists, arms, and body. If you have pre-existing wrist conditions, such as pain, carpal tunnel, weakness, or other injuries, it’s best to wait until you’ve fully recovered before taking the course. For those who are pregnant, consult your doctor before enrolling.

If you’re currently on modified work duty, we recommend postponing your CPR class until you’re cleared for full physical activities.
