The American Heart Association (AHA) issues CPR and BLS certifications that remain valid for two years. If you’re in Alameda or the East Bay, we offer renewal courses to help you keep your certification active without any hassle.
BLS certification is often required for healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, paramedics, and EMTs. CPR certification is valuable for anyone, including students in medical fields, emergency responders, and members of the general public interested in gaining life-saving skills.
Absolutely! Once you’ve completed the course requirements and passed the hands-on skills test, you’ll receive your AHA eCard that very same day at any of our East Bay locations.
Not entirely. While the theoretical part of CPR and BLS training can be done online, the AHA requires in-person skills testing for full certification. For your convenience, we offer hybrid courses where you can do the online portion at home and complete the hands-on evaluation at one of our Alameda or East Bay facilities.
We provide training sessions at convenient locations throughout Alameda and the East Bay. Each site is designed to deliver a comfortable and effective learning environment tailored to local residents and professionals.
Please bring a valid ID and, if applicable, your RQI login credentials. Wear comfortable clothes suitable for hands-on activities. If you’re taking an ACLS or PALS class, reviewing the pre-course videos ahead of time can make the process smoother.
If you need to reschedule, you can do so for a $30 fee. Alternatively, if you purchased reschedule insurance during booking, there’s no additional cost. We strive to make rescheduling easy for residents of Alameda and the East Bay.
