I had such a great experience getting my PALS certification through this local, women-owned business! 💕 I’m so proud to support a small business in my community, especially one owned and operated by women. The entire process was so easy, convenient, and quick, which made getting certified a breeze! I had an issue during ventilating my manikin so I called the customer service number that was so easy to find posted on the wall and Bernadette was really helpful. The issue was resolved in less than 2 mins. I truly appreciate how seamless the experience was and will definitely be coming back for my future recertifications. Highly recommend! 🩺✨

The skills portion was independent and mainly through a device and mannikins. I preferred it this way since I felt a lot less pressure on my ability and helped me get better at the CPR portion

I did both my BLS and ACLS with Safety Training Seminars . Their service is really great . The voice assisted manikin are a good technology and innovation that I think everyone should tryout because they keep you in check and guide you on proper BLS and ACLS protocols that make you grasp and pass the course easily . They also have branches everywhere which is more convenient for a wider service . Try them I promise you won't regret .

Great and convenient way to recert for experienced providers. The online portion was a cool new adaptive style, and as I am experienced with ACLS and PALS from my employment, the adaptive module that shortened the lecture portions based on periodic testing was great. The skills testing site I was a little apprehensive about, not having an instructor present and only with feedback devices. But it was quite simple and straightforward! Call me old fashioned, but if you are new / inexperienced with BLS, ACLS, or PALS, an in person instructor is pretty beneficial, especially with the mega code / team dynamic aspect that you can have with an in person class. But I was surprised with the thoroughness of the online portion and definitely was pleased with the convenience aspect. UPDATE: This was my second time using this service and I still highly recommend it. My recerts were coming up soon, and I decided to rip off the bandaid and get them done. I signed up on Monday night, did the online modules Tuesday morning, and knocked out the skills portion Wednesday morning, got the e-cards via email as I walked out the door. I work in ED and critical care, so I’m always kind of wanting to rush through my ACLS/BLS/PALS courses. The adaptive learning portion is a big feature I enjoy. I can crank the proficiency level to expert, it validates my understanding with test questions, and I can move past lecture videos and slides that I demonstrated competency on. Huge time saver, but also will catch areas you might be rusty on. I feel like the lecture review stuff I did focus on was exactly what I needed to review, and wasn’t buried in a sea of information I already know. The online portion can take up to a few hours per module, IF you are going through all the material and not familiar with it enough to test out of it. But I was knocking each one out in under an hour! So if you’re bedside or in an environment where this is more review than active learning, this part will be much quicker than you’d think. The skills testing was easy, too. One thing I will say, I had to sign up for 3 different hour slots which was a pretty sizable portion of my day, but if you’re proficient with the skills, you definitely don’t need the full hour. I was able to access all of my skills testing (BLS/ACLS/PALS) and completed everything in the first hour. Couple of tips: remember your RQI login info or have it jotted down before getting there, and the door code too. It’s all provided on their emails, and the login info is the same you used to do the online modules, but makes it a little easier to get started.

Frequently Asked Questions

The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification course teaches healthcare professionals how to recognize life-threatening emergencies and provide high-quality CPR, early defibrillation, and effective team-based resuscitation. It is required for medical providers such as nurses, physicians, EMTs, paramedics, dentists, therapists, and students entering healthcare programs.

Participants learn adult, child, and infant CPR, proper use of an AED, effective ventilation techniques, and how to relieve choking. The course also emphasizes team dynamics, high-performance CPR, and updated resuscitation guidelines. Students practice hands-on skills with feedback-equipped manikins to ensure competency and confidence.

The traditional instructor-led BLS course typically takes approximately 3–4 hours, depending on class size and skill level. The certification is valid for two years. Renewal courses are shorter and designed for those with a current or recently expired BLS card.

The AHA BLS Provider Course meets official medical employment and hospital credentialing requirements, combining evidence-based training with hands-on skills practice and testing. Many online-only CPR programs are not accepted by hospitals because they lack live skills testing. AHA BLS certification remains the gold standard in healthcare.
