The instructor was patient but straight forward and open to addressing any questions or concerns we had. She was detailed oriented and really cared about how each student was understanding and progressing through each skill. She made sure we were comfortable with the lesson before moving on. Most importantly she encouraged each student to be better and to fully immerse ourselves into the skill as if we were really in each situation. I am happy to be a student of the American Red Cross and learn Adult and Infant CPR. I completed the course through the blended learning method, finishing the theory portion at home and attending the skills session via Zoom. Initially, I was nervous and shy, but with the guidance and support of our instructor, Ferlyn, I was able to learn everything clearly. She made the class comfortable and easy to understand. Now, I feel confident in performing CPR and helping save a life in an emergency. The training facility was very clean, well-organized, and provided a comfortable learning environment, which made the experience even better.
