We distribute online course access three times daily between 8 AM and 5 PM. To complete the American Heart Association online course, you must use a computer or tablet—mobile phones are not supported.
The course adapts to your existing knowledge, so its duration varies based on your experience and skill level:

Preparing for Your BLS, ACLS, or PALS Skills Test
On the day of your scheduled skills testing, arrive at your selected location at the registered date and time with your RQI login and the entry instructions sent via text or email.
The Voice-Assisted Manikin (VAM) will guide you through the testing process. While an instructor will not be present, our friendly support team is available—just call our office during your session if you need any assistance.
Enrolled in the CPR and First Aid course? Simply arrive at your designated testing location on the date and time you selected during registration. Be sure to bring your phone, as the instructor will contact you via text or through the room’s cameras to begin your skills testing.
A virtual American Heart Association instructor will guide you step-by-step through the required skills assessment, ensuring you meet all certification standards. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive your official certification card on the same day.
This streamlined process makes earning your certification convenient, efficient, and stress-free. Get ready to learn, test, and walk away certified—all in one session!
On the day of your course, you can pick up a free keychain CPR training mask—available in a variety of colors!
Using a CPR breathing mask is essential for practicing universal precautions and ensuring safety while performing CPR.

By signing up for a class, you acknowledge that performing chest compressions on a manikin may cause discomfort or strain on your hands, wrists, arms, or body. If you have any pre-existing physical conditions such as pain, carpal tunnel, weakness, or injury, we recommend postponing your training until you feel better.
If you become fatigued or run out of time during your skills session, simply call our office—we’ll reschedule you at no extra cost. You’re also welcome to stay and complete your skills session if time allows.

After you complete the skills testing, you will immediately receive the official American Heart Association certification eCard (valid for two years).
