Community Fire Departments

Some local fire departments offer free cpr training courses to their community. Mostly they offer non-certification cpr classes, but some departments offer official American Heart Association CPR and first-aid training. The courses usually last a few hours and include how to perform CPR on adult, children, and infants, how to use an AED, and first-aid techniques.

CPR Saturdays

CPR Saturdays are a big event where local CPR and First-aid companies come together and host a large gathering to train lots of people in CPR at the same time. Safety Training Seminars has participated by bringing out our instructors and a hundred CPR manikins to these volunteer events.

Over the past few years, there has been a huge increase in fraudulent CPR courses. Many of these courses do not follow American Heart Association guidelines, which allows them to charge a lower price.Some problems that can arise if you take a fraudulent course.
