Where are the classes held?
598 Vermont Street (18th Street) in San Francisco

What happens if I can’t attend the class I registered for?
Nothing. Other CPR companies demand payment before the class and if you miss your class, you do not receive a refund. Safety Training Seminars is much nicer. You only pay if you attend the class.

What form of payments do you accept?
You can pay with a check (made out to STS), money order or cash.

I have back and knee problems. Can I attend the training?
Sure. You can practice CPR on a table.

I lost my card. What do I do?
You can receive a CPR or First-aid replacement card. There is a lost CPR card replacement form on the Contact Us page.

I signed up and took the wrong class. What do I do?
Our website states that students are responsible for registering for the correct CPR class. If you signed up and took the wrong CPR class, you can sign up again for the correct class. There are no refunds. Thanks.

How long are the CPR and First-aid certification cards valid?
All CPR classes: Valid 2 years, First-aid class: Valid 2 years, EMSA First-aid: Valid 2 years.

Are online CPR classes valid?
There are lots of online classes available on the internet. Unfortunately, many of  these are an internet scam. In order to receive a valid CPR certification card, you need to be in a classroom with a certified CPR instructor and practice on manikins. We have lots of students that pay $40- $60 for an online CPR certification which is not valid and then they have to pay to take a real CPR certification class all over again. We offer the American Heart Association eLearning BLS for Healthcare Provider class.
