American Heart Association BLS eLearning Class
San Francisco AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider CPR eLearning (online) Course (BLS/BCLS) offers a flexible training option for busy healthcare professionals. This AHA BLS CPR course covers CPR, choking, AED, 2 person CPR, and barrier devices for all age groups.
Audience: Doctors, nurses, nursing students, dentists, EMTs, paramedics, lifeguards, massage therapists, acupuncturists, physical therapists, or anyone in the medical field or healthcare field or going into the medical/healthcare field.
2 Easy Steps
1. Complete the online testing at your own pace. This interactive online course takes 45 minutes - 1.5 hours. We will email you the BLS class activation key (within 1 business day) and give you the website link (check junk mail folder). If you do not receive your activation key within one business day, call or email us. This activation key will expire after one week.
2. Practice and testing CPR in our classroom - 30-45 minutes.
Audience: Doctors, nurses, nursing students, dentists, EMTs, or anyone in the medical field.
Length: 2 hours (1.5 hours online, 30 minutes skills)
Cost: $80 (cash or check made out to STS, NO CREDIT CARDS)
Payment: You can pay on the day of your BLS CPR class.
Certification: American Heart Association BLS card valid 2 yrs.
Prerequisite: This BLS CPR class is for renewal or first time.

CPR Cancellation Policy: None. You only pay if you arrive.
Safety Training Seminars BLS CPR Class
You will receive the BLS certification card on the day of the class.
Other Bay Area BLS facilities send the cards by mail which can take a few weeks for you to receive.
We don’t cancel our classes (even if only one participant shows up).
Other Bay Area BLS facilities cancel the class with just one day’s notice if there are not enough students.
You only pay if you attend. You do not pay until the day of the course.
Other Bay Area BLS facilities demand prepayment and offer no refunds if you cancel or have to reschedule.
You will get the American Heart Association (AHA) certification card.
There are some CPR companies in the Bay Area that teach non-certified BLS classes which are not accepted.
English as a Second Language
The AHA BLS classes are video driven so even if English is your second language, you will do fine. Our BLS instructors will help you during the practice sessions and the training classes are very stress-free. We have instructors who speak Danish, Swedish, Spanish, and French.
Infants & Children
Infants and children are not allowed in the SF BLS classroom. Only people who are attending the class are allowed in the BLS classroom.
Important: You must bring in your eLearning certificate for your skills testing portion.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the Association.
